Joyce has been involved in a car accident that totally wrecked her car. And while she is uninjured, she is having to spend a lot of time on accident reports and insurance claims and has asked that she be excused from writing her “Discussion Starters” this week. We wish Joyce well as she works through these issues.
In their place I am providing 3 sets of questions that you may like to use in your lesson studies this week.
- The Study Guide spends 3 days separately studying the love of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Is there any difference? What do we learn about their personalities by studying the verses listed in this study?
- Is there anything wrong with claiming that you are saved? What is the difference between faith and presumption? Would it be better for us to say that we do not know whether we are saved or not? What is meant by the assurance of Salvation?
- In what sense is the Gospel Everlasting? I often hear assertions that we should be preaching the “Full Gospel” as though we are missing bits of it out. How can we be assured that we are preaching the “Full Gospel”?
Hopefully Joyce will be back with her challenging questions next week.
